Cheese, Please!

Our world-class gourmet cheese shop features a large selection of value-priced domestic varieties such as buttery Monterey Jack from California and mild-to-sharp Cheddar from New York, Wisconsin, and Vermont. Inexpensive imported favorites include sweet Dutch Gouda and nutty Norwegian Jarlsberg.

Our do-it-yourself deli platter features extra lean honey ham, traditional baked ham, and thinly sliced Swiss cheese. It also includes a fine selection of hearty home-style salads and freshly baked breads.

Budget Party Tips

The #1 rule for throwing a party that won’t break the bank is to create a budget and stick to it. If possible, have a combo party—combine two events into one or share the celebration with someone else and split the cost. Plan your party as far ahead as possible to avoid costly last-minute purchases. Time your party for early afternoon, when it’s more appropriate to serve sandwiches, hearty salads, and other less expensive foods.

If you’re inviting a large crowd, buffets are usually the most efficient and least expensive way to serve a meal. Once you’ve finalized your menu, you can look for sales and stock up on any additional items you might need– such as soft drinks, bottled water, condiments, and paper goods.

The Cheese Nibbler

We garnish bite-size samples of some of the world’s finest cheeses with fresh, seasonal fruit; offering sharp Cheddar and apple, creamy Brie and grapes, mild Fontina and strawberries, and other ideal pairings.

Giant Party Hero

Up to six feet long, our crowd-pleasing American or Italian-style hero sandwich is an edible centerpiece, generously stuffed with fresh-sliced Master Choice cold cuts and cheeses.

Luau Bowls

Bowls of freshly-cut, seasonal fruits and crisp, garden-fresh veggies are an appetizing way to balance the buffet menu and get your party off to a healthy start. You can find them in the produce department.

Shrimp Rings

For a special treat, place a small ring of Master Choice shrimp at either end of the buffet table with a lemon garnish and a cup of cocktail sauce. Then stand back and watch ‘em disappear!

Wrap Platter

A popular pick-me-up sandwich, our pinwheel wraps are made with an assortment of fresh sliced meats, cheeses, and grilled vegetables.
